Think leashes are only for dogs? Think again! With a bit of training, you can certainly walk your cat on a leash although the younger your cat is, the easier it will be. If you also have dogs, you'll be able to walk your cats alongside them (and get strange looks from people passing by.)

However, one of the most underrated uses for a cat leash is like a “training wheel” for taking your cat outdoors for the first few times. Cats have a tendency to dart off unexpectedly when they are paranoid of any dangers lurking and retrieving your cat when he/she has darted underneath a car or jumped a fence is inconvenient to say the least. Having a comfortable and high quality leash will ensure that your cat won't be able to get too far while not compromising its comfort and well being at the same time.
